This unit uses UV-A lighting To highlight skin conditions. The specific wavelengths Of UV-A light are capable Of penetrating layers Of skin To draw attention To all Of the problems that can affect skin's health on the face, neck, chest and hands. It contains six 6 watt bulbs that are strategically placed to evenly distribute light on the subject. A magnified mirror inside the machine allows the subject to see exactly what the operator is seeing as they look through the magnified lens. This is very important as it reinforces the subject's need for the care of their individual skin issues.
